- A quality Montessori classroom has a busy, productive atmosphere through concentration on freely chosen work that a child fulfils his/her need to be worthwhile and begins his/her quest for self-actualization. Within such an enriched environment, freedom, responsibility, social and intellectual development spontaneously flourish!
Project Approach
- Children are curious explorers. They like to ask many questions and like to investigate!
- They enjoy learning about the world around them.
- Project Approach involves children in studies of things that interest them and are worth knowing more about.
- Children study one topic for a long period
The topic is selected partly because they are interested in it and is meaningful to them and their lives.
- This helps the young investigators to understand their own experience and environment more fully and accurately.
- Teacher will integrate content knowledge like math, reading and science into the projects.
